My name is Hayley O'Brien, RYT 500, and I am the owner of White Feather Yoga. I have been in the fitness industry for over two decades, and I find something new to love about it all of the time. Yoga has been with me for years, but came to life particularly when I moved to Boise four years ago. The timing was perfect, and I dove deep into training at the Sage Yoga School. Yoga has opened my eyes and my heart to so many amazing things. What's even better, it's introduced me to some very special people that I hold dear. Interesting how yoga finds its way in...right when you need it the most.

The practice of yoga is life-changing. My personal practice has given me broader wings to fly...providing me with endless opportunities to feel love and to share it with others. My mat is my special space. It's my container to be myself and to be present without judgment (although that, my friends, is always a work in progress!). My mat is a place to explore what I'm capable of...when I practice...when I sit...when I quietly listen. My purpose when I teach is to create and share that same loving environment...one that lends itself to explore within and take a moment for some honest self-care. I invite you to feel, not just see, all of yoga's magical capabilities. It doesn't have to be big. It can be a simple seed that grows within you overtime. My goal for each person that joins one of my classes is to leave feeling more rested and rejuvenated, treasured and loved, honored and seen. It is as simple as that.

By day, I am a yoga instructor, but I am also a mama of three, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend, a Frenchie pup snuggler, a slow and steady marathon runner, a coffee sipper and a snack sneaker. My days can be long and crazy, but so can yours...and there lies the opportunity for yoga to find its way in. Allow me to sweetly meet you at the door.

Why White Feather Yoga? I always knew I wanted to start a yoga business one day, and it would launch as White Feather Yoga...simple, sweet, serene. White feathers remind me of hope. White feathers remind me of love and celebration. White feathers remind me of joy, peace, and purity. White feathers remind me of a greater connection to what's all around us. But more than anything, they remind me of a certain special someone who's angelic presence, filled with love and encouragement, is felt each time I see a white feather in my presence. If a business name for one of my favorite things could encompass some of my most favorite feels, White Feather Yoga would be it. And so it is.

I would love to see you anytime. My door will always be open when you are ready. I picture a mat of your favorite color, with your name written beautifully across the top, waiting patiently for you. I promise the space to be sweet and loving, the community to be welcoming and kind, and the movement to be all yours. See you soon.

Namaste.
